Comments: I wanted an equine dentist to check my horses' teeth so I called Dr. Niederman. She travels with a portable stock for working with the horses that is much more functional than the stock the local vet clinic has, and she has a real easy way with the horses that makes the examination and the floating procedure as pleasant as possible for them. Dr. Niederman found a broken incisor in the mouth of one of my geldings that had been missed the previous year by another vet during a dental exam and float. She's coming back next month to remove that tooth. The other two horses needed no work, and she was honest in telling me that. If you're in the Houston area and you need an annual dental check for your horses, I strongly recommend that you call Dr. Niederman.

Carrie came out for the first time to do my herd of minis. She has ramps for her portable stock so they were safe and secure. She found a tooth in one horse which was dislodged from the socket and growing out sideways across the top of her gum. Carrie xrayed it immediately. She reviewed it with her colleagues and came out later to extract it. The horse is feeling a bunch better now. I had broken my foot and she brought out an assistant in order to allow me to not walk too much. I did not pay extra for the assistant. She is completely self contained and can work in the middle of a field if needed. She has all the horse info on the computer. Gives a sheet with all the info on the exam and floating along with recommendations as needed. Very profession and high tech. Cost the same as my vet who is has never cared for my horses teeth as well as Carrie did. I'll never have anybody else work on my horses' teeth now that I have Carrie.
